Kementerian Unifikasi Republik Korea adalah departemen eksekutif pemerintah Korea Selatan yang bertujuan untuk mempromosikan penyatuan kembali Korea. Didirikan pada tahun 1969 sebagai Badan Unifikasi Nasional, di bawah pemerintahan Park Chung-hee. Kemudian statusnya ditingkatkan menjadi kementerian hingga saat ini.

Di bawah menteri sebelumnya Yu Woo-ik, Kementerian Unifikasi terdiri dari atas, satu badan untuk perencanaan dan koordinasi; tiga biro untuk penyatuan kebijakan, pertukaran dan kerjasama antar-Korea, dan kerjasama kemanusiaan; terdapat satu biro khusus untuk menangani proyek Kompleks Industri Gaeseong; dan lima lembaga afiliasi pada penyatuan pendidikan, dialog antar-Korea, transit antara Korea Selatan dan Korea Utara, penyelesaian dukungan untuk dislokasi Korea Utara dan konsultasi kerjasama antar-Korea. Namun, pada tahun 2008, Kementerian Unifikasi secara signifikan dirampingkan sebagai bagian dari efisiensi restrukturisasi dari pemerintah.[1]

Menteri yang menjabat saat ini adalah Hong Yong-pyo, mantan penasihat Presiden di Korea Utara, telah mengambil sumpah jabatan pada tanggal 16 Maret 2015.[2] Kantor pusat berada di lantai ketiga dan keempat dari Kompleks Pemerintah Seoul di Distrik Jongno, Seoul.[3]
