Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Daerah Kabupaten Jembrana

Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Daerah Kabupaten Jembrana (KKPD Kabupaten Jembrana) adalah salah satu kawasan konservasi perairan yang ada di Bali, Indonesia. Dalam pembagian administratif Indonesia, KKPD Kabupaten Jembrana berada di Kabupaten Jembrana. Dasar hukum penetapannya adalah Surat Keputusan Bupati Jembrana Nomor 778/DKPK/2013. Luas kawasan KKPD Kabupaten Jembrana) adalah 3.532,52 Hektare.[1] Di dalam KKPD Kabupaten Jembrana terdapat dua kawasan konservasi yaitu Kawasan Konservasi Perairan dan Taman Pesisir Perancak (1.137,72 Hektare wilayah darat dan 1.165,50 Hektare wilayah laut) dan Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Melaya (1.229,30 Hektare). Kawasan Konservasi Perairan dan Taman Pesisir Perancak masuk dalam Kecamatan Jembrana pada koordinat antara 8°24’01,45” Lintang Selatan – 8°25’22,88” Lintang Selatan dan 114°35’43,68” Bujur Timur – 114°40’06,93” Bujur Timur. Sedangkan Kawasan Konservasi Perairan Melaya berada di Kecamatan Melaya dengan koordinat antara 8°14’56,45” Lintang Selatan – 8°18’20,04” Lintang Selatan dan 114°27’21,87” Bujur Timur dan 114°30’13,94” Bujur Timur. Ekosistem di KKPD Kabupaten Jembrana menjadikan keanekaragaman hayati melimpah pada jenis ikan. Spesies ikan yang ada di KKPD Kabupaten Jembrana terbagi menjadi ikan pelagis dan ikan demersal. Spesies ikan pelagis meliputi ikan lemuru, ikan layang, layur, tongkol, manyung, kembung, bawal hitam, bawal putih, kuwe, teri, peperek, kurisi, belanak, banyar, srengseng, tenggiri, baronang, dan kerong-kerong. Sedangkan jenis ikan demersal meliputi ikan cucut, kerapu, kakap dan pari. Biota laut lainnya yaitu cumi-cumi dan lobster.[2]
