Kampung Dongeng Indonesia adalah sebuah komunitas di bawah naungan Yayasan Kampung Dongeng Tunas Bangsa yang didirikan oleh Awam Prakoso, pendongeng Indonesia.[1]

Sejarah

Gerakan ini berawal ketika Kak Awam (Moch Awam Prakoso) sering kali berkeliling ke berbagai daerah di Indonesia bertemu dengan anak-anak untuk pertunjukan dongeng, bertemu dengan para guru dan orang tua memberikan training teknik mendongeng dan merasa bahwa dirinya tak mungkin dapat melakukannya sendiri secara terus menerus.[1][butuh rujukan]

Berkeliling ke berbagai daerah berinteraksi dengan anak-anak dalam ruang yang tentu saja sangat beragam. Dari anak-anak perkotaan, perkampungan hingga anak-anak yang berada di jalur perbatasan dan daerah terpencil. Dari kegiatan ulang tahun rumahan, di sekolah, di hotel, hingga kegiatan dongeng untuk anak-anak di berbagai Rumah Sakit dan pengungsian bencana alam.[butuh rujukan]

Hingga saat ini telah berdiri lebih dari 140 cabang Kampung Dongeng di berbagai daerah, dan terkumpul kurang lebih 550 Relawan Dongeng di berbagai wilayah yang siap Mendongeng untuk anak-anak Indonesia.[butuh rujukan]
