Kampanye anti-keagamaan Uni Soviet (1921–1928)

Kampanye anti-keagamaan USSR (1921–1928) merupakan kampanye persekusi yang bersifat anti keagamaan melawan gereja dan para penganut agama yang dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah Uni Soviet mengikuti kampanye anti-keagamaan selama Perang Sipil Rusia. Keadaan itu, yakni penghapusan agama dan penggantiannya dengan deisme, agnostisisme, dan ateisme yang didukung oleh worldview (pandangan dunia) yang materialis (keserbabendaan) merupakan tujuan ideologis negara Soviet secara fundamental.[1][2] Untuk tahap akhirnya, maka negarapun melakulan persekusi antiagama melawan orang-orang beragama yang berarti melukai dan malah menghancurkan agama. Menjadi orang yang berkepercayaan atau memiliki agama kala itu dianggap ilegal, dan sebab itulah, pelaksanaan kampanye itu sering disamarkan dengan dalih yang diperlukan atau dibuat-buat negara untuk membikin pembenaran bahwa kampanye itu harus dilakukan (dalihnya biasa bahwa ada perlawanan terhadap rezim).[3]
