Julian Aberbach

Julian J. Aberbach (8 Februari 1909 – 17 Mei 2004)[1] adalah seorang penerbit musik kelahiran Austria, yang tinggal dan bekerja di Amerika Serikat dan Prancis. Bersama dengan adiknya Jean Aberbach, ia bertanggung jawab atas pendirian rumah penerbitan musik Hill and Range, dan merupakan tokoh penting dalam karier beberapa pementas musik country dan populer utama pada pertengahan dan akhir abad kedua puluh, yang meliputi Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Edith Piaf dan Jacques Brel.

Kehidupan pribadi dan kematian

Aberbach menikahi Anne Marie pada 1953. Mereka memiliki dua putra, Dolfi yang wafat di usia 23 tahun pada 1983 dan Ronny yang wafat dalam sebuah kecelakaan pada tahun yang sama, dan seorang putri, Belinda. Saudaranya Jean Aberbach wafat pada 1992.[2][3]

Julian Aberbach wafat akibat serangan jantung di New York pada 2004 di usia 95 tahun.[3]
