Jonathan Cape merupakan sebuah perusahaan penerbitan asal Inggris yang didirikan pada 1919 atas nama Jonathan Page and Company. Nama ini kemudian diganti pada 1921, dan kemudian menjadi salah satu bagian dari A. C. Fifield. Hal ini kemudian menjadi sebuah serangan balik bagi beberapa penerbitan Inggris, khususnya buku-buku yang merupakan hasil karya dari T. E. Lawrence, Arthur Ransome, the latter Roald Dahl books, Malcolm Lowry's Under dalam the Volcano, Fitzroy Maclean's Eastern Approaches dan serial James Bond oleh Ian Fleming. Cape selanjutnya ditolak oleh sebuah peternakan bernama George Orwell's Animal Farm.
