Johnnie To (kelahiran 22 April 1955), yang juga dikenal sebagai To Kei-Fung (杜琪峯), adalah seorang sutradara dan produser Hong Kong. Terkenal di negara asalnya Hong Kong,[1] To juga meraih ketenaran di luar negeri. To telah membuat film-film dalam berbagai genre, sehingga di dunia Barat ia paling dikenal karena film-film kejahatan dan aksi[2][3]

Kesuksesan internasional terbesar To meliputi Breaking News, Election, Election 2 (alias Triad Election), Exiled, Mad Detective dan Drug War; film-film tersebut tampil dalam sejumlah festival film internasional, didistribusikan di bioskop-bioskop Prancis dan Amerika Serikat, dan terjual di negara-negara asing.

Karier

Pada April 2011, media mengumumkan bahwa ia akan menjadi anggota juri untuk kompetisi utama di Festival Film Cannes 2011.[4]

Film 2011-nya Life Without Principle terpilih sebagai perwakilan Hong Kong untuk Oscar Berbahasa Asing Terbaik di Academy Awards ke-895, tetapi tidak masuk babak akhir.[5]
