Joe Petagno

Joe Petagno (lahir 1 Januari 1948) adalah seorang seniman yang dikenal karena menciptakan gambar-gambar pada sampul album heavy metal untuk band-band seperti Motörhead, Marduk, Nightshade, dan Illdisposed.

Lahir di Portland, Maine, Petagno, meninggalkan Amerika Serikat pada tahun 1972. Ia lantas bekerja pada Hipgnosis sebelum bertemu dengan Lemmy Kilmister dari Motörhead pada tahun 1975. Ia kemudian mendesain Snaggletooth untuk album Motörhead dan juga mendesain hampir semua sampul album Motörhead.

Pada tahun 1979, Petagno mengadakan pameran keliling. Disponsori oleh Syah Iran, ia mengunjungi Prancis dan bertemu dengan partnernya, Sanne, di Denmark, di mana ia tinggal sekarang.

Ia juga pernah mendesain satu set kartu permainan yang dijual dengan nama The Deck of Death.
