Jamaat-e-Islami (Urdu: جماعتِ اسلامی) adalah pergerakan islam yang didirikan pada tahun 1941 di India Inggris oleh teolog islam dan filsuf sosial politik, Abul A'la Maududi.^[1] Sejalan dengan Ikhwanul Muslimin, yang didirikan pada 1928, Jamaat-e-Islami adalah salah satu organisasi islam yang paling berpengaruh,^[2] dan pelopor organisasi yang mengembangkan "ideologi yang berdasarkan pada konsep islam yang modern dan revolusioner".^[3]

Organisasi ini terdapat di India and Pakistan mengikuti Pemisahan India pada 1947. Kelompok lain yang berhubungan dan terinspirasi dengan Jamaat-e-Islami adalah Bangladesh, Kashmir, Inggris, and Afghanistan. Partai-partai Jamaat-e-Islami berhubungan secara internasional dengan grup Muslim lainnya.^[4]
