Jack Frost

Jack Frost adalah personifikasi dari embun beku, es, salju, hujan es, musim dingin, dan dingin membeku. Jack Frost diperkirakan berasal dari adat istiadat musim dingin Anglo-Saxon dan Norse. Jika di Rusia, ia digambarkan sebagai Kakek Frost, dan di Jerman dikenal sebagai Ibu Holle.[2][3]

Jack Frost telah muncul sebagai karakter dalam berbagai acara televisi dan film. Namanya disebutkan dalam sebuah lagu musim dingin berjudul "The Christmas Song" (alias "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire"). Dia pernah disajikan sebagai tokoh penjahat di beberapa media dan juga sebagai pahlawan.
