Ismail Rasyid, S.E (lahir 3 Juli 1968), merupakan seorang pengusaha internasional asal Aceh dan merupakan pendiri sekaligus CEO Trans Continent yang bernaung dibawah bendera Royal Group. Ismail Rasyid juga merupakan alumni Fakultas Ekonomi Unsyiah.[1][2][3]

Saat ini, beliau bersama pengusahan lain yang didukung oleh Pemerintah Aceh juga sedang fokus mengembangkan Kawasan Industri Aceh di Ladong dan Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Arun Lhokseumawe untuk menghidupkan kembali industrisasi di Aceh disamping mengembangkan usahanya dikawasan regional dan Internasional.[4][5][6][7]

Latar belakang

Pada tahun 2004, Ismail Rasyid mendirikan PT. Trans Continent (dibawah naungan Royal Group) merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang multi moda transport, logistics & supply chain dengan bisnis utama di bidang industri pertambangan, perminyakan, energi serta perdagangan domestik maupun internasional dengan 19 cabang di Indonesia termasuk Aceh, dua di luar negeri (Australia & Filipina serta jaringan kerja di 80 negara.[8]
