Interaksi Yesus dengan wanita adalah sebuah unsur penting dalam debat teologi tentang Kekristenan dan wanita. Wanita berarti penting dalam kisha Yesus Kristus. Ia lahir dari seorang wanita, berinteraksi dengan sejumlah wanita dan mula-mula menampakkan diri setelah kebangkitannya. Ia memerintahkan wanita tersebut untuk pergi dan mengabari para murid-Nya bahwa ia telah bangkit, yang merupakan pesan esensial dari Kekristenan.

Jumlah rujukan kepada wanita yang tinggi

Menurut cendekiawan Perjanjian Baru Frank Stagg dan klasikis Evelyn Stagg,[1] Injil-injil Sinoptik dari Perjanjian Baru berisi jumlah rujukan kepada wanita yang relatif tinggi. Cendekiawan Alkitab Injili Gilbert Bilezikian menyepakatinya, khususnya bila dibandingkan dengan karya-karya sastra pada masa yang sama.[2]:p.82
