ISO 31-0

ISO 31-0 adalah bagian pertama[1][2][3] dari standar internasional ISO 31 dalam kuantitas dan satuan. Standar ini memberikan petunjuk dalam menggunakan kuantitas fisik, simbol kuantitas dan satuan,[4] dan sistem satuan koheren, terutama Sistem Satuan Internasional. Standar ini digunakan dalam setiap bidang sains dan teknologi dan ditambah dengan ketentuan khusus lainnya yang telah ditentukan dalam standar ISO 31. Standar ini digantikan oleh ISO 80000-1.

Cakupan

ISO 31 hanya mencakup kuantitas fisik yang digunakan untuk pemerian kuantitatif dari fenomena fisik. Ia tidak mencakupi skala konvensional, seperti skala Beaufort, skala Richter, atau skala intensitas warna, hasil dari pengujian konvensional, mata uang, atau konten informasi.
