Husain Djojonegoro

Husain Djojonegoro atau Tjoe Kok Seng (lahir 1949) adalah tokoh pengusaha berkewarganegaraan Indonesia asal Semarang, Jawa Tengah.[1]

Pendidikan awal dan karier

Husain lahir di keluarga yang berlatar belakang sebagai pengusaha. Sang ayah, Tjandra Djojonegoro alias Tjoe Sam Yak (almarhum) bersama saudaranya Tjoe Sok Sam mulai merintis Grup Orang Tua pada tahun 1948 dengan menjual anggur herbal.[2]

Husain Djojonegoro mendapat pendidikan sekolah dasar dan menengah di Medan dan Jakarta. Ia mulai bekerja pertama kali pada usia 15 tahun sebagai seorang salesman.[2]

Pada tahun 1968, ia menjadi direktur di perusahaan sang ayah, PT International Chemical Industrial Co. Ltd., dan memproduksi baterai ABC, yang menjadi jenama baterai populer di Indonesia.[1] Bersama adiknya Pudjiono, Husain mengelola Grup ABC.

Selain dalam bidang produksi baterai, Djojonegoro memperluas ekspansi bisnisnya ke bidang produksi kecap, sirup, saus tomat dan jus jeruk yang menggunakan jenama yang sama.[1] Pabrik-pabrik Grup ABC beroperasi di Medan, Jakarta dan Surabaya.
