Kaum Huguenot (atau Hugenot) adalah orang Kristen Protestan (Calvinisme) asal Prancis pada abad ke-16 hingga ke-18. Karena terjadinya Perang Agama di Prancis pada abad ke-16 banyak orang Huguenot yang bermigrasi ke daerah Protestan, seperti ke Belanda, untuk menghindari pembunuhan oleh warga Katolik.
Beberapa keturunan Huguenot menjadi tokoh ternama pada masa penjajahan VOC/Belanda di Indonesia, seperti Cornelis Chastelein dan Eddy du Perron.
Nama Huguenot pertama-tama dipakai sebagai nama makian oleh musuh mereka. Namun asal usul nama ini tidaklah jelas. Dengan begitu beberapa teori telah diajukan. Teori yang diterima secara umum ialah bahwa kata ini berasal dari kata Jerman Eidgenosse yang dilafalkan oleh orang Prancis. Kata ini berarti "sekutu", "mitra" atau "sahabat".
Huguenots Prancis melakukan dua upaya untuk menjangkau Amerika Utara. Setelah Pencabutan Edikta Nantes pada tahun 1685, beberapa orang Huguenot termasuk Edmund Bohun dari Suffolk, Inggris, Pierre Bacot dari Touraine, Prancis, Jean Postell dari Dieppe, Prancis, Alexander Pepin, Antoine Poitevin dari Orsement, Prancis, dan Jacques de Bordeaux dari Grenoble, berimigrasi ke distrik Charleston Orange.
