Hitorie, terkadang digayakan hitorie (ヒトリエ), adalah band rock Jepang yang dibentuk pada 2011 oleh lead vocalist dan gitaris wowaka bersama dengan bassist Ygarshy dan drummer Yumao dengan nama hitori atelier (ひとりアトリエ). Backing vocalist dan sesama guitaris Shinoda bergabung pada tahun 2012, dan band ini dinamai ulang seperti sekarang pada tahun yang sama.[1]

Sejarah

Hitorie debut sebagai independen di bawah Hinichijou Records (非日常レコーズ) pada tahun 2012, dan debut secara major di bawah Sony Music Associated Records pada tahun 2014.[6][7] Sejak 2019, Shinoda (シノダ) menjadi lead vocalist dan guitarist untuk grup ini, melanjutkan wowaka, yang meninggal pada 5 April 2019 karena gagal jantung akut.[8]

Karena wowaka adalah Vocaloid producer, selama dia dalam hitorie, dia sering menampilkan lagu Vocaloid miliknya dalam penampilan langsung[9][10] yang bisa ditemukan di live album, serta melakukan cover seperti "Unknown Mother Goose"[11][12] dan "Nichijou to Chikyuu no Gakubuchi".[13]

Shinoda (シノダ) dulu menggunakan nama samaran "Shoudouteki no Hito (衝動的の人)" (orang impulsif) yang menulis dan menyanyikan aransemen sendiri dari Touhou di bawah "cakebox".[14] Ygarshy (イガラシ) juga merupakan support bassist dari "Wasureranneyo (忘れらんねえよ) (Jangan Lupa)" dan pernah aktif di band Touhou "Sekken'ya (石鹸屋) (Soap Shop)", anggota "JUDGEMENT" bersama ichigo—vocalist dari "Kishida Cult", serta membuat musik untuk "Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club".[15][16][17] Yumao (ゆーまお) adalah support drummer dari Pedro dan pernah aktif "yasashikute (優しくして♪) (Tolong Bersikap Lembut)" dan bagian dari Kagerou Project.[18]
