Helen Hunt

Helen Elizabeth Hunt (lahir 15 Juni 1963) adalah seorang aktris berkebangsaan Amerika Serikat yang meraih penghargaan Emmy, Golden Globe, dan Academy Award sebagai Best Actress untuk perannya dalam film As Good as It Gets. Dia menjadi yang terkenal saat bermain di film utamanya seperti Mad About You. Dia mulai berkarier di dunia film sejak tahun 1973.

Penghargaan dan Nominasi

Pada tahun 1997, Helen Hunt membintangi film As Good as It Gets yang mendapatkan reaksi kritikan yang luar biasa, banyak kritikus menyanjung performa Hunt dalam film ini. Dia pun memenangkan penghargaan Academy Award for Best Actress, Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Musical or Comedy, dan banyak penghargaan lainnya atas performanya sebagai Carol Connelly dalam film itu. Ia juga aktris pertama yang memenangkan dua Golden Globe dalam satu malam, satu untuk akting film, satu untuk akting televisi (Mad About You). Juga, kemenangan Hunt sebagai Best Actress pun sesuai dengan kemenangan Best Actor oleh Jack Nicholson yang juga bermain bersamanya dalam film tersebut.
