Heinrich Rohrer (lahir 6 Juni 1933) adalah seorang fisikawan Swiss. Bersama dengan Gerd Binnig atas penemuan scanning tunneling microscope ia menerima Penghargaan Nobel dalam Fisika 1986. Mereka membagi hadiah itu bersama Ernst Ruska.

Ia lahir seperempat jam setelah saudari kembarnya. Selesai menamatkan sekolah Rohrer masuk Fakultas Fisika ETH di Zürich pada tahun 1951. Di kampus ia belajar dengan Wolfgang Pauli dan Paul Scherrer. Pada tahun 1955 Rohrer mengajukan disertasi di bawah bimbingan Jörgen Lykke Olsen atas pengukuran perubahan panjang superkonduktor pada transisi superkonduksi yang diinduksi oleh medan magnet. Pada tahun 1963 Rohrer bergabung dengan Laboratorium Riset IBM Zürich di Rüschlikon, yang bersama dengan Gerd Binnig, mempelajari efek Kondo dan GdAlO3, pada tahun 1982 scanning tunneling microscope ditemukan.
