Hakusensha, Inc. (株式会社白泉社, Kabushiki-gaisha Hakusensha) merupakan perusahaan penerbitan di Jepang. Lokasi kantor pusatnya adalah di Chiyoda, Tokyo.[1] Perusahaan tersebut menerbitkan majalah manga dan memproduksi sejumlah seri permainan video, animasi video asli, musik, dan seri animasi televisi. Ia merupakan anak perusahaan dari Shueisha, dan sebagian sahamnya dimiliki oleh Shogakukan.

Sejarah

Hakusensha didirikan pada 1 Desember 1973 oleh Shueisha. Perusahaan ini kemudian berpisah, walaupun ia menjadi bagian dari Hitotsubashi Group dengan Shueisha dan Shogakukan sebagai anggota utama dari keiretsu.

Setelah membangun perusahaan selama lima bulan, mereka menerbitkan majalah pertama yang bertema manga shojo berjudul Hana to Yume (花とゆめ). Pada 1975, perusahaan ini mengubah frekuensi penerbitan majalah dari bulanan menjadi dwimingguan. Pada bulan Juli 1976, mereka menerbitkan majalah manga kedua dengan tema yang sama bernama Hana to Yume LaLa (花とゆめ LaLa). Pada bulan April 1977, mereka membuat departemen penerbitan, dan menerbitkan majalah tahunan yang bernama Bessatsu Hana to Yume (別冊花とゆめ).
