HMD Global Oy, berjenama HMD dan Nokia Mobile, adalah perusahaan Finlandia yang berafiliasi dengan Nokia. Sejak beroperasi mulai Desember 2016, perusahaan ini mengembangkan sekaligus memasarkan perangkat telepon seluler dan telepon pintar dengan merek "Nokia" melalui kesepakatan lisensi.[5] Perusahaan ini didirikan sebagai penerus bisnis telepon seluler non-pintar Microsoft Mobile yang dijual Nokia pada tahun 2014. HMD memiliki hubungan "kerja sama erat" dengan Google dan menggunakan sistem operasi Android untuk produk-produk telepon pintarnya, sedangkan yang non-pintar kebanyakan menggunakan platform Series 30+.[6][7] Adapun merek HMD hanya digunakan untuk kepentingan korporat dan tidak dimunculkan di iklan, sementara nama Nokia Mobile digunakan di media sosial.[8][9]

HMD berkantor pusat di seberang markas Nokia di Espoo dengan sebagian besar karyawan mantan eksekutif Nokia.[10] CEO pertama perusahaan ini adalah Arto Nummela yang pernah bekerja di Nokia selama 17 tahun hingga digantikan oleh Florian Seiche pada bulan Juli 2017.[11] Proses produksinya dipercayakan kepada salah satu divisi manufaktur Foxconn.[12][13] Nokia tidak berinvestasi di HMD, tetapi terus menjadi mitra yang menentukan standar produksi serta menyediakan hak paten dan teknologi dengan imbalan royalti.[14][15] Strategi pemasaran HMD adalah memberikan pengalaman penggunaan Android yang "murni dan aman" dengan bahan berkualitas tinggi, merek tepercaya, dan nostalgia.[16][17][18][19]
