Gevherhan Sultan (Turki Otoman: کوھرخان سلطان, "Gem of the Khan"; ca 1544 – ca 1624) adalah seorang putri Ottoman, putri Sultan Selim II (memerintah 1566–1574) dan kesayangannya Nurbanu Sultan. Dia adalah cucu dari Suleiman yang Agung (memerintah 1520–66) dan Hürrem Sultan, saudara perempuan Sultan Murad III (memerintah 1574–1695) dan bibi Sultan Mehmed III (memerintah 1595–1603).

Badan amal

Dari propertinya, dia membentuk yayasan keagamaan dan amal yang pendapatannya membangun dan memelihara perguruan tinggi teologi tinggi di lingkungan İstanbul di Cağaloğlu.[2]

Kematian

Ketika dia meninggal, pada tahun 1624, dia dimakamkan di makam ayahnya Sultan Selim II, di sebelah Masjid Hagia Sophia.[2][3]

  • Ayşe Atike Hanımsultan (1563 - ca 1614-1616). Dia menikah dengan Doğancıbaşı Kerim Aga. Atike meninggal sekitar tahun 1614-1616, sesaat sebelum kelahiran putri Ahmed I, Atike Sultan, yang dinamai untuk menghormatinya.
  • Sultanzade Mehmed Pasha (? - 1593). Gubernur pertama Peloponnese, sampai pamannya Murad III, atas permintaan ibunya, mengangkatnya menjadi gubernur Herzegovina.
  • Sultanzade Mustafa Bey. Dia mungkin meninggal saat masih bayi.
  • Fatma Hanımsultan. Menikah dengan beberapa Ibrahim Bey.
  • Hatice Hanımsultan. Kadang-kadang dianggap sebagai anak perempuan yang lahir dari pernikahan kedua ibunya. Ia menikah dengan Sinanpaşaoğlu Mehmed Pasha pada bulan November 1598, hingga Ahmed I mengeksekusinya pada tahun 1605. Tidak diketahui apakah dia menikah lagi.
