Gereja Sayidan

Gereja Gothik Sayidan adalah sebuah bangunan mirip gereja berarsitektur Gothik yang terletak di Kampung Sayidan, Kecamatan Gondomanan, Kota Yogyakarta.[1] Meskipun bernama gereja, bangunan tersebut merupakan rumah hunian.[2] Bangunan tersebut dimiliki oleh Esther Widyo Wanandyo, istri dari R. Petrus Haryono, seorang perajin batik yang memiliki relasi dengan Keraton Yogyakarta. Bangunan tersebut dibangun pada 1979 dalam bentuk rumah konvensional dan dipugar dalam bentuk saat ini pada 1986. Bangunan tersebut juga menjadi tempat pembuatan video musik "Perbedaan" karya Ari Lasso.[3]

Terdapat dua pintu masuk dari bangunan tersebut. Satu pintu terletak di gang kecil di utara bangunan tersebut. Pintu lainnya bersebelahan dengan Polsek Gondomanan, dimana terdapat nama atau ukiran “Ullen Sentalu” yang merupakan sebuah akronim “Ulating Blencong Sejatine Tataning Lumaku” yang artinya "Pelita Hidup Bagi Perjalanan Manusia".[1]
