Christian Gaston Castaño atau dipanggil Gaston Castaño (lahir 8 Juli 1985) adalah pemain sepak bola berasal dari Argentina. Dan pernah membela boca junior tetapi kurang bersinar.

Karier

Pada tahun 2007, ia bermain di Liga Indonesia bersama PSS Sleman. Kedatangannya ke Indonesia merupakan bagian dari rencana kerja sama PSS Sleman dengan Boca Juniors. Ia datang ke Indonesia bersama dua pemain lainnya dan seorang pelatih. Namun, hanya dia yang bisa bertahan dengan gaya sepak bola Indonesia, bahkan ia menjadi pujaan pendukung PSS Sleman. Karena kurang tajam kemudian Gaston bergabung dengan PSIS Semarang dan berlaga di kancah Liga Super Indonesia episode perdana (2008). Dari 28 penampilanya Gaston hanya mencetak 12 gol. Perombakan besar-besaran akhirnya terjadi di tubuh PSIS Semarang saat itu. Manajemen secara resmi mencoretnya karena kurang produktif dalam mencetak gol. Namun, Persiba Balikpapan pada putaran kedua Liga Super Indonesia 2008 tak membuat karier penyerang asal Argentina tersebut redup. Di akhir musim, kontrak sang pemain tidak diperpanjang oleh Manajer Persiba Balikpapan, karena tim harus melakukan efisiensi anggaran. Pada 2010-2011, ia berlabuh ke PSMS Medan. Pada tahun 2011-2012 Gaston bermain untuk tim Gresik United. November tahun 2012 dia berlabuh ke Pelita Bandung Raya

Kehidupan pribadi

Gaston digosipkan berpasangan dengan artis Julia Perez saat masih berstatus istri dari Damien Perez.[1] Setelah Julia Perez resmi bercerai mereka melanjutkan hubungannya hingga, mereka juga akan menikah, tetapi ditentang oleh ibunda Perez karena perbedaan keyakinan dan dengan alasan tidak setuju bila putrinya menikah dengan pemain sepak bola, maka ia akan ditinggal pergi, sama seperti yang dialaminya dengan ayahnya.

Gaston sempat bertunangan dengan Julia Perez pada tahun 2013 dan berencana menikah pada tahun 2014. Namun, di akhir Maret 2014, Julia mengkonfirmasi bahwa hubungan asmara mereka telah bubar karena suatu hal.[2]
