Franklin Hamlin Littell (20 Juni 1917 – 23 Mei 2009) adalah seorang sarjana Protestan Amerika. Ia dikenal karena tulisan-tulisannya yang menolak supersessionisme dan, sehubungan dengan Holokaus, menganjurkan program pendidikan untuk meningkatkan hubungan antara orang Kristen dan Yahudi.[1]

Setelah menghabiskan hampir sepuluh tahun di Jerman pascaperang sebagai Kepala Penasihat Agama Protestan di Komando Tinggi yang ditugaskan secara khusus untuk tugas denazifikasi selama pendudukan, dia sangat terpengaruh oleh kekejaman yang telah dilakukan selama Perang Dunia II, dan dengan demikian mendedikasikan hidupnya hidup untuk meneliti Holokaus dan membawa pelajaran tragisnya tentang hak asasi manusia ke perhatian publik yang luas. Dalam bukunya Historical Atlas of Christianity, yang pertama kali diterbitkan pada tahun 1976, dia menyatakan bahwa banyak gereja Kristen gagal menangani secara jujur keterlibatan mereka dalam pembunuhan orang Yahudi Eropa.[4] Pada tahun 1939 sebagai seorang pendeta Metodis muda, dia menghadiri rapat umum Nazi di Nuremberg,[5][6] dan dia kemudian merumuskan, dalam sebuah makalah berjudul Holocaust and the Christians, bahwa iming-iming Nazisme disebabkan oleh kegagalan dalam spiritualitas Kristen yang berasal dari Konsili Nicea Pertama pada tahun 325 M.[6] Ia juga menulis dukungan teologis terhadap Zionisme.[7]
