Bloch pada 1917

Ernest Bloch (24 Juli 1880 – 15 Juli 1959) adalah seorang komponis Amerika Serikat kelahiran Swiss.[1] Bloch adalah seorang artis terkenal pada masanya, dan meninggalkan warisan berkelanjutan. Ia diakui sebagai salah satu komponis Swiss terbesar dalam sejarah.[2] Selain memproduksi musik, Bloch berkarir akademik yang berpuncak pada pengangkatannya sebagai Profesor Emeritus di University of California, Berkeley pada 1952.[3]

Johnson is currently Professor of Art and Design at Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo Ca. An account of his discovery and many of Bloch's images can be found on his website.
