Ekspansi ekonomi

Ekspansi ekonomi adalah peningkatan tingkat kegiatan ekonomi, serta barang dan jasa yang tersedia. Ini adalah periode pertumbuhan ekonomi yang diukur (misalnya) dengan kenaikan PDB riil.[1][Verifikasi gagal][2] Penjelasan fluktuasi kegiatan ekonomi agregat antara ekspansi dan kontraksi ekonomi ("boom" dan "bust" dalam "siklus bisnis") merupakan salah satu perhatian utama ekonomi makro.[3]

Biasanya ekspansi ekonomi ditandai dengan peningkatan produksi dan pemanfaatan sumber daya. Pemulihan ekonomi dan kemakmuran adalah dua fase ekspansi yang berurutan, sedangkan resesi didefinisikan sebagai dua periode penurunan PDB. Ekspansi dapat disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor eksternal ekonomi, seperti kondisi cuaca atau perubahan teknis, atau oleh faktor-faktor internal ekonomi, seperti kebijakan fiskal, kebijakan moneter, ketersediaan kredit, tingkat suku bunga, kebijakan peraturan atau dampak lain pada insentif produsen. Kondisi global dapat memengaruhi tingkat aktivitas ekonomi di berbagai negara.[butuh rujukan]

Kontraksi dan ekspansi ekonomi berhubungan dengan hasil keseluruhan dari semua barang dan jasa, sedangkan istilah "inflasi" dan "deflasi" mengacu pada kenaikan dan penurunan harga komoditas, barang dan jasa dalam kaitannya dengan nilai uang.[butuh rujukan]

Pada tingkat mikroekonomi, ekspansi dapat melibatkan perluasan skala perusahaan. Cara-cara ekspansi meliputi ekspansi internal dan integrasi. Ekspansi internal berarti perusahaan memperbesar skalanya dengan membuka cabang, menciptakan produk baru, atau mengembangkan bisnis baru. Integrasi berarti perusahaan memperbesar skalanya dengan mengambil alih/merger dengan perusahaan lain.[butuh rujukan]
