Edward Bellamy (26 Maret 1850 – 22 Mei 1898) adalah seorang penulis dan sosialis Amerika, yang paling dikenal karena novel utopia buatannya yang berjudul Looking Backward

Edward Bellamy lahir di Chicopee, Massachusetts. Ayahnya adalah Rufus King Bellamy (1816–1886), seorang pendeta Baptis dan keturunan Joseph Bellamy.[1] Ibunya, Maria Louisa Putnam Bellamy, adalah putri dari pendeta Baptis bernama Benjamin Putnam

Bellamy menikahi Emma Augusta Sanderson pada tahun 1882 dan dikaruniai dua anak.
