Donat kampung dengan taburan meses.

Donat kampung adalah sebutan untuk kue donat versi industri kecil atau rumah tangga yang umumnya ditemukan di kampung. Kue ini biasanya disajikan dengan cara yang sederhana, dengan bubuhan gula halus putih atau meses. Donat kampung biasanya dijajakan secara berkeliling dengan sepeda atau gerobak dalam kotak kaca.[1] Tekstur donat kampung agak padat dan gemuk sehingga cukup mengenyangkan.

Industri Donat Kampung

Industri donat kampung umumnya dijalankan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kekeluargaan dan jenis donat ini dijajakan secara berkeliling.

Donat produksi industri kecil ini biasanya dijajakan berkeliling menggunakan sepeda atau sepeda motor. Penjual donat kampung menjual dengan mengelilingi suatu kampung atau desa dengan membawa donat dalam box plastik yang di ikat di atas sepeda motornya.

Di dalam bus, pedagang asongan menjual donat kampung dalam kemasan kotak dengan cara unik. Donat dalam kemasan dibagi-bagikan ke pangkuan penumpang untuk kemudian dikumpulkan kembali apabila penumpang tidak berminat.
