Distrik
Distrik (serapan dari bahasa Inggris district) adalah salah satu jenis pembagian administratif yang ada di beberapa negara, dikelola oleh pemerintah setempat. Di seluruh dunia, area yang dikenal sebagai "distrik" sangat bervariasi dalam luas, mencakup wilayah atau daerah, beberapa munisipalitas, subdivisi munisipalitas, distrik sekolah, atau distrik politik.
Di Indonesia, khususnya pada zaman Hindia Belanda, distrik disebut juga kewedanaan (kawedanan). Saat ini, istilah distrik digunakan di Pulau Papua sebagai daerah setingkat kecamatan.
