Proses (bahasa Jerman: Der Process, kemudian Der Proceß, Der Prozeß dan Der Prozess)[2] adalah sebuah novel yang belum selesai yang ditulis oleh Franz Kafka pada kurun waktu tahun 1914 hingga 1915 dan diterbitkan oleh Max Brod pada tahun 1925. Salah satu karya Kafka yang paling terkenal yang menceritakan kisah Joseph K. Seorang pria yang ditangkap dan diadili oleh pihak otoritas yang tidak diketahui siapa dan tanpa kejelasan mengenai tuntutan/kejahatan yang dituduhkan kepadanya. Novel ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh karya Dostoevsky yaitu Kejahatan dan Hukuman dan Karamazov Bersaudara, Kafka bahkan memanggil Dostoyevsky seorang kerabat darah.[3][4] Seperti novel Kafka yang lain, Proses dianggap sebagai novel yang belum selesai ditulis, meskipun bab terakhir seolah merupakan akhir dari novel tersebut.
