Deikolus (Déicole, Dichuil, Deel, Deicola, Deicuil, Delle, Desle, Dichul, Dicuil, Domgall) (skt. 530 – 18 Januari 625) adalah seorang biarawan Irlandia, pendiri dan abbas di Bourgogne Prancis.[1] Dia dihormati sebagai santo oleh Gereja Katolik.
Biografi
Seorang murid Kolumbanus di Bobbio, ia pergi bersamanya pada tahun 576 dari Irlandia ke Galia, di mana mereka mendirikan Keabasan Luxeuil di Vosges. Ketika pada tahun 610 Santo Kolumbanus diasingkan ke Italia oleh Thierry II, Deikolus mendirikan keabasan Lure,[1] diperkaya dan diberkahi dengan semua jenis barang yang diperlukan untuk itu oleh raja Meroving Clotaire II,[2] yang telah mengakui kualitas spiritual Deikolus. Di Lure dia menghabiskan sisa hidupnya hingga kematiannya, yang terjadi pada sekitar 625.[3]
