"Dear Mom" adalah lagu pop balada yang ditampilkan oleh girlband Korea Selatan, Girls' Generation. Dinyanyikan dalam bahasa Korea, lagu termasuk dalam album mini pertama mereka, Gee yang dirilis secara digital pada 5 Januari 2009 di bawah label rekaman S.M. Entertainment.[1]

Composition

"Dear Mom" yang disusun Kim Tae Sung, sedangkan liriknya ditulis oleh pacarnya yang juga seorang penyanyi, Ivy, meskipun ia menggunakan nama samaran "The Lighthouse" dalam kredit album.[2] Ivy juga menulis lagu SHINee, "Last Gift".[3]

"Dear. Mom" adalah pop balada dengan lirik yang mengandung cinta seorang putri terhadap ibunya.

Rilis

Lagu dirilis sebagai track ketiga dalam album mini pertama Girls' Generation, Gee pada 5 Januari 2009.[1]

Promosi

Girls' Generation menampilkan lagu secara langsung pertama kali di SBS The Music Trend pada 1 Maret 2009. Di atas panggung, setiap anggota menunjukkan gambar diri mereka sebagai seorang anak dengan ibu mereka, mengirim pesan terima kasih kepada ibu mereka.[4]

Lagu juga ditampilkan pada Into The New World: Asia Tour.
