David Linde adalah CEO Participant Media sejak Oktober 2015.^[1] Sebelumnya, ia menjabat sebagai CEO Lava Bear Films yang ia dirikan pada tahun 2011; Lava Bear adalah perusahaan produksi dan pendanaan film yang mengembangkan proyek-proyek film untuk dipasarkan secara global.^[2] Rumah produksi ini memiliki hubungan dengan sejumlah studio dan distributor besar serta perusahaan-perusahaan yang membentuk masa depan perfilman, termasuk pemegang saham utama Lava Bear, Reliance Entertainment.^[3] 15 proyek film yang dikembangkan Lava Bear beserta proyek-proyek selanjutnya saat ini diawasi oleh Tory Metzger, Presiden dan anggota dewan Lava Bear.^[4] Film-film yang diproduseri Lava Bear tahun 2015 dan 2016 adalah Desierto, Shut In, dan Arrival.
