Daftar negara-negara Afrika menurut Indeks Pembangunan Manusia

Indeks Pembangunan Manusia adalah ukuran perbandingan dari harapan hidup, melek huruf, pendidikan, dan standar hidup untuk negara-negara di seluruh dunia. Indeks ini merupakan cara standar untuk mengukur kesejahteraan. Hal ini digunakan untuk membedakan apakah negara ini maju, berkembang, atau negara terbelakang dan juga untuk mengukur dampak kebijakan ekonomi terhadap kualitas hidup. Negara (hampir semua negara anggota PBB dan teritorial khusus) jatuh ke dalam tiga kategori berdasarkan HDI: tinggi, sedang, dan pembangunan manusia yang rendah.
