Córdoba merupakan sebuah kota di Argentina. Kota ini terletak di bagian tengah di negara itu. Tepatnya di Provinsi Córdoba, kota ini juga yang terpadat kedua di Argentina setelah Buenos Aires, dengan sekitar 1,3 juta penduduk menurut sensus 2010

Sejak Perang Dunia II, Córdoba telah mengembangkan basis industri serbaguna. Sektor terbesar adalah pembuatan mobil dan suku cadang mobil, Renault memiliki pabrik yang memproduksi berbagai mobil dan Volkswagen memiliki pabrik yang mengkhususkan diri dalam produksi kotak roda gigi. Perusahaan barang modal CNH Industrial juga memiliki pabrik di kota.[2] Banyak pemasok (baik lokal maupun asing) yang memproduksi suku cadang mobil untuk operasi ini. Selain itu, mulai tahun 2017-2018, Nissan dan Mercedes-Benz akan mulai memproduksi truk pickup baru mereka di pabrik Renault. Konstruksi kereta api (Materfer) dan konstruksi pesawat (Fábrica Militar de Aviones) pernah menjadi perusahaan yang signifikan, tetapi aktivitas mereka telah sangat berkurang. Selain itu, ada beberapa industri tekstil dan kimia.

Etnis

Kelompok etnis terbesar di Córdoba adalah Italia/Argentina Italia dan Spanyol/Spanyol Argentina (kebanyakan dari Galicia dan Basque/Basque Argentina). Gelombang imigran dari negara Eropa lainnya tiba pada akhir abad ke-19 dan awal abad ke-20. Dari sisa Eropa Barat datang para imigran dari Swiss, Jerman, Inggris, Irlandia dan Skandinavia (terutama Swedia). Bangsa dari Eropa Timur juga datang dari negara seperti Kroasia, Polandia, Hungaria, Rusia, Rumania, Ukraina, Armenia dan Balkan (terutama Yunani, Serbia dan Montenegro). Pada 1910-an, 43 persen populasi kota adalah non-pribumi Argentina setelah tingkat imigrasi memuncak.[3][4]
