Cynric /ˈkɪnˌrɪtʃ/ merupakan seorang raja Wessex dari tahun 534 hingga 560. Semua yang diketahui mengenai dirinya berasal dari Sejarah Anglo-Saxon. Di sana, ia dinyatakan sebagai putra Cerdic, yang dianggap sebagai pendiri kerajaan Wessex.[2] Beberapa catatan menyebutkan bahwa Cynric (dalam daftar pemerintahan kata pengantar) adalah putra dari putra Cerdic, Creoda.[3]
