Krep atau krepes (bahasa Prancis: crêpe) adalah kue dadar tipis yang terbuat dari gandum dan merupakan makanan yang sangat digemari di seluruh Eropa dan tempat lainnya. Bahan utamanya adalah tepung gandum, telur, susu, mentega, dan garam. Terdapat dua jenis crêpe, yaitu crêpe manis yang terbuat dari tepung gandum dan crêpe asin yang terbuat dari tepung buckwheat. Banyak yang tidak mengetahui bahwa Crepes berasal dari PERANCIS.

Crêpe berasal dari Bretagne, sebuah wilayah di Prancis bagian barat, di mana crêpe disebut sebagai kramphouezh. Namun, konsumsi crêpe sekarang sudah meluas di seluruh Prancis. Buckwheat berasal dari Tiongkok, dan setelah menyebar ke Eropa Timur berkembang menjadi makanan sejenis yang disebut blintz. Di Bretagne, crêpes biasanya disajikan secara tradisional dengan saus apel. Di kawasan Eropa Tengah, makanan sejenis ini disebut palačinka (bahasa Ceko, Slowakia, Kroasia dan Slovenia), palatschinken (Austria), palacsinta (bahasa Hungaria). Semua julukan ini berasal dari kata Rumania plăcintă (bahasa Latin placenta yang berarti 'kue'). Di kebanyakan daerah Jerman, crêpe disebut sebagai Pfannkuchen, dan dalam bahasa Belanda pannenkoeken. Kedua kata ini, berasal dari kata 'pan' dan 'cake' yang masing-masing berarti 'pemanggangan' dan 'kue'.

Crêpe dapat digulung atau dilipat, dan dapat juga diisi dengan berbagai macam isi. Crêpes dapat dimakan dengan makanan apapun apabila ia diasinkan, dan diisi dengan keju, asparagus, ham, telur, ratatouille, jamur, atau produk daging lainnya.

Crêpe yang manis dapat dijadikan sebagai hidangan penutup. Crêpe dapat diisi dengan berbagai jenis makanan manis: selai, cokelat lelehan, susu, es krim, buah berry, kacang, cinnamon, dan sebagainya. Sebagai topping atau atasnya dapat digunakan gula (bubuk), jus lemon, whipped cream, buah-buahan yang dipotong, dsb.

Sebuah crêpe tipikal yang berasal dari Prancis dan Belgia adalah Crêpe Suzette, sebuah crêpe dengan sedikit kulit jeruk yang diparut dan minuman keras liqueur (biasanya Grand Marnier) yang kemudian dipanaskan.

Merupakan hal yang cukup umum juga untuk menggulung atau melipat crêpe, lalu digoreng, dipanggang atau disaute, tidak seperti blintz, meskipun persiapannya mirip.

Di Prancis, crêpe biasanya disajikan secara tradisional pada Candlemas (La Chandeleur), pada tanggal 2 Februari.
