Compact Disc single
CD single (kadang-kadang disingkat CDS) adalah singel dalam bentuk Cakram padat (Compact Disc). Format ini diperkenalkan pada pertengahan 1980-an, tetapi tidak mendapatkan tempat di pasar sampai awal 1990-an. Dengan kenaikan unduhan digital pada tahun 2000-an, penjualan singel CD telah menurun. Singel CD yang dirilis secara komersial bervariasi dari dua lagu (dengan sisi A dan sisi B dalam tradisi rekaman 7" 45rpm) hingga enam lagu seperti EP.
