ChEMBL atau ChEMBLdb adalah basis data zat kimia molekul bioaktif dengan sifat seperti-obat yang dikuratori secara manual.[1] Basis data ini dikelola oleh Laboratorium Biologi Molekuler Eropa, Institut Bioinformatika Eropa (European Bioinformatics Institute; EBI), yang berbasis di Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, Hinxton, Britania Raya.
Basis data ini, awalnya dikenal sebagai StARlite, dikembangkan oleh sebuah perusahaan bioteknologi bernama Inpharmatica Ltd. yang kemudian diakuisisi oleh Galapagos NV. Data tersebut diperoleh untuk EMBL pada 2008 dengan penghargaan dari The Wellcome Trust, menghasilkan pembentukan kelompok kemogenomika ChEMBL di EMBL-EBI, yang dipimpin oleh John Overington.[2][3]
