Centrarchidae native range

Centrarchidae atau kerakap matahari adalah keluarga ikan bersirip air tawar yang termasuk ordo Perciformes [1](sebelumnya milik Centrarchiformes yang sudah tidak digunakan lagi). Jenis genus adalah Centrarchus (hanya terdiri dari selebaran, C. macropterus). Keluarga centralarchid terdiri dari 38 spesies ikan,[2] 34 di antaranya masih ada (saat ini hidup)[3] dan mencakup banyak ikan yang akrab dengan orang Amerika Utara.
