Budaya Kota New York

Budaya Kota New York terwakili oleh ukuran dan keragaman kota. Banyak gerakan budaya Amerika Serikat pertama muncul di kota ini. Renaisans Harlem menciptakan renaisans Afrika-Amerika di Amerika Serikat, sementara tari modern Amerika berkembang di New York pada awal abad ke-20. Kota ini menjadi panggung utama bagi musik jazz pada tahun 1940-an, ekspresionisme tahun 1950-an, dan rumah bagi budaya hip hop, punk rock, dan Beat Generation.

Kota New York adalah pusat musim, film, teater, tari dan seni rupa penting di Amerika Serikat.
