Broc

Broc (bahasa Prancis: [bʁo]; bahasa Franco-Provençal: Broc, setempat Bro [bʁo] ( simak)) adalah sebuah munisipalitas di distrik Gruyère di kanton Fribourg, Swiss.

Broc pertama kali disebutkan pada 1115 sebagai Broc dan Broch. Munisipalitas sebelumnya dikenal dengan nama Jerman Bruck, tetapi nama itu tidak lagi digunakan.

Broc seluas, hingga 2009^[update], 10 kilometer persegi (3,9 sq mi). Dari area ini, 42 km² (16 sq mi) atau 41,8% digunakan untuk tujuan pertanian, sedangkan 444 km² (171 sq mi) atau 44,2% adalah hutan. Dari sisa tanah, 091 km² (35 sq mi) atau 9,1% pemukiman (bangunan atau jalan), 029 km² (11 sq mi) atau 2,9% adalah sungai atau danau dan 022 km² (8,5 sq mi) atau 2,2% adalah lahan tidak produktif.^[1]

Dari luas terbangun, perumahan dan bangunan mencapai 4,8% dan infrastruktur transportasi mencapai 2,6%. Dari lahan berhutan, 42,2% dari total luas lahan berhutan lebat dan 2,0% ditutupi dengan kebun atau kelompok kecil pohon. Dari lahan pertanian, 6,2% digunakan untuk menanam, 20,6% adalah padang rumput dan 14,8% digunakan untuk padang rumput pegunungan. Dari air di munisipalitas, 1,4% di danau dan 1,5% sungai dan aliran.^[1]

Munisipalitas terletak di distrik Greyerz, di jalan Bulle-Boltigen dekat Celah Jaun.
