Bondy merupakan sebuah komune di pinggiran timur laut Paris, Prancis. Terletak 10.9 km (6.8 mil) dari pusat kota Paris].

Nama

Nama Bondy tercatat untuk pertama kalinya sekitar 600 M sebagai Bonitiacum, berarti "kediaman Bonitius", seorang tuan tanah Galia-Romawi.

Sejarah

Selama Abad Pertengahan Bondy berupa hutan. Hutan Bondy terkenal sebagai rumah para bandit dan perampok dan sangat berbahaya.

Tanggal 3 Januari 1905, sepertiga teritori Bondy dipisahkan dan menjadi komune Les Pavillons-sous-Bois.

Tanggal 30 Oktober 2007, sebuah ledakan gas menewaskan satu orang dan melukai 47 orang.
