Birthday Honours 1916

Birthday Honours 1916 adalah sebuah pelantikan dilakukan oleh Raja George V untuk memberikan berbagai penghargaan dan kehormatan kepada karya-karya bagus dan berjasa dari para warga Kekaisaran Britania. Pelantikan tersebut dibuat untuk menselebrasikan hari ulang tahun resmi Raja, dan diterbitkan dalam The London Gazette[1] dan dalam The Times pada 3 Juni 1916.[2]

Berkenaan dengan Perang yang sedang berlangsung, suplemen 5 halaman dari The Gazette meliputi 3,880 nama dari penerima kehormatan, promosi pangkat militer dan medali, yang meliputi Military Cross (708 orang, salah satunya adalah Pangeran Wales), Distinguished Service Order (373) dan 1,217 Military Medal.[2]
