Biarawan Sion

(bahasa Prancis: Prieuré de Sion, bahasa Inggris: Priory of Sion atau Priory of Zion) sejak 1970-an telah menjadi karakter protagonis misterius dalam berbagai karya fiksi dan non-fiksi. Digambarkan sebagai perkumpulan rahasia paling berpengaruh di dalam sejarah Dunia Barat, disebut-sebut sebagai Rosicrucian-esque ludibrium modern, tetapi ada juga yang menyebutnya sebagai kabar bohong (hoax). Bukti-bukti yang mendukung keberadaan Priory of Sion hingga kini masih diragukan keasliannya oleh para ahli sejarah, akademisi, dan ilmuwan. Pernah ada sebuah biara pertapaan yang dikenal sebagai Priory of Sion, tetapi kepemilikannya telah diambilalih Yesuit pada 1617.

Biarawan Sion adalah organisasi nyata—sebuah masyarakat rahasia Eropa yang didirikan pada tahun 1099. Pada tahun 1975, Perpustakaan Nasional di Paris menemukan sebuah perkamen yang dikenal sebagai Les Dossiers Secrets, yang mengidentifikasi sejumlah anggota Biarawan Sion, yang mencakup nama-nama seperti Sir Isaac Newton, Botdcelli, Victor Hugo, dan Leonardo Da Vinci.
