Biak Kota adalah sebuah distrik sekaligus menjadi ibu kota kabupaten di Kabupaten Biak Numfor, Provinsi Papua, Indonesia. Jumlah penduduk distrik ini berjumlah 43.644 jiwa (2024), dengan luas wilayah 24,00 km², dengan kepadatan penduduk 1.818 jiwa/km².[2][3]

Di distrik ini, terdapat bermacam-macam instansi pemerintahan dan juga berbagai fasilitas umum lainnya, seperti kantor bupati, kantor distrik, rumah sakit, hingga perguruan tinggi. Layanan publik di bidang kesehatan terdapat 1 rumah sakit, 3 poliklinik, 2 puskesmas, 5 apotek, dan 11 puskesmas keliling.[3]

Demografi

Keberagaman agama dan budaya menjadi bagian dari masyarakat Kabupaten Biak Numfor, khususnya juga Di distrik Biak Kota. Berdasarkan data Kementerian Dalam Negeri 2024 mencatat bahwa 75,08% penduduk Distrik Biak Kota memeluk agama Kekristenan, dengan persentase Protestan sebanyak 72,28% dan Katolik 2,80%. Kemudian yang memeluk agama Islam berjumlah 24,46%, kemudian Buddha sebanyak 0,37% dan Hindu sebanyak 0,08%.[2] Terdapat 48 jumlah bangunan gereja, 10 masjid, 1 wihara dan 1 pura.[3]
