Bermain korban

Bermain korban atau berlagak korban (bahasa Inggris: play victim, self-victimization) adalah sikap seseorang yang seolah-olah berlagak sebagai seorang korban untuk berbagai alasan seperti membenarkan pelecehan terhadap orang lain, memperdaya orang lain, strategi penjiplakan, mencari perhatian, atau tidak bertanggung jawab pada amanat yang diberikan padanya.

Untuk penyalahgunaan

Bermain korban oleh para penyalah guna adalah:[1][2]

  • Dehumanisasi, menyangkal bahwa tindakan yang ia lakukan adalah tindak pelecehan dengan mengklaim bahwa tindakan tersebut dibenarkan dengan alasan orang lain (biasanya korban) berperilaku buruk
  • Melakukan tindak dan kontrol abusif dengan meminta simpati dari orang lain dalam rangka meraih bantuan untuk mendukung atau melakukan tindak pelecehan terhadap korban (dikenal sebagai pelecehan proksi)
