Bentang tirta di Akuarium Kotak Kaca

Bentang tirta atau akuaskap (bahasa Inggris: aquascape) adalah seni mengatur tanaman, air, batu, karang, kayu, dan yang lainnya di dalam media kaca atau akrilik. Biasanya bentang tirta berbentuk kotak kaca maupun bentuk lainnya yang serupa akuarium. Bentang tirta tidak hanya memelihara ikan tapi juga memelihara semua komponen yang ada di dalam akuarium, dengan berbagai pendekatan dan ketelitian.[1]

Bentang tirta juga digolongkan pada jenis hobi, memelihara ekosistem air tawar pada media akuarium. Memelihara ekosistem air tawar pada akuarium dikenal dengan istilah aquascape sedangkan ekosistem air laut disebut oceanirum. Bentang tirta bermula pada tahun 1369, ide seorang kaisar China membuatkan wadah untuk memelihara ikan hias.[butuh rujukan]

Berbeda dengan akuarium biasa, objek-objek dalam bentabg tirta ditata sedemikian rupa sehingga membentuk satu keindahan. Objek yang biasanya digunakan dalam bentang tirta meliputi bebatuan, karang, kayu, dan ornamen lainnya. Sehingga tidak hanya fokus merawat ikan saja, melainkan juga seluruh objek dalam akuarium.

Ada beberapa gaya bentang tirta yang memiliki konsep unik dan memiliki ciri khas masing-masing, diantaranya[2]:
