Beach House adalah duo musik Amerika yang dibentuk di Baltimore pada tahun 2004. Band ini terdiri dari Victoria Legrand (vokal, kibor) dan Alex Scally (gitar, kibor, vokal latar). Album debut berjudul-sama mereka dirilis pada tahun 2006 dengan pujian kritis dan diikuti oleh Devotion (2008), Teen Dream (2010), Bloom (2012), Depression Cherry (2015), Thank Your Lucky Stars (2015), B-sides and Rarities (2017), 7 (2018), dan Once Twice Melody (2022).
Beach House paling sering dilabeli sebagai band dream pop. Kesuksesan grup di akhir tahun 2000-an memantapkan popularitas subgenre dream pop di kalangan pendengar milenial.[1] Materi sebelumnya pada album Beach House, Devotion, dan Teen Dream juga digambarkan sebagai indie pop dan lo-fi. Materi mereka selanjutnya semakin menggabungkan tekstur elektronik. Mereka juga telah digambarkan sebagai pelakon shoegaze.
Beberapa lagu Beach House telah dipakai sebagai sampel oleh artis hip-hop dan R&B terkemuka. Pada tahun 2011, The Weeknd mengambil sampel "Master of None" dan "Gila" dalam lagunya masing-masing "The Party & the After Party" dan "Loft Music".[2] Kendrick Lamar mengambil sampel pada lagu "Silver Soul" untuk lagu hitnya "Money Trees." Grup rap G-Side mengambil sampel "10 Mile Stereo" dalam lagu mereka "How Far".[3]
Beach House juga menginspirasi lagu dan musisi. Duo pop The Chainsmokers menulis "Beach House" sebagai syair pujian untuk mendengarkan Beach House.[4] Wayne Coyne dari Flaming Lips menmasukkan album Bloom milik Beach House sebagai salah satu dari sepuluh rekaman yang mengubah hidupnya.[5]
