Balliol College (/ˈbeɪliəl/) adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan tinggi di bawah naungan Universitas Oxford di Inggris. Salah satu perguruan tinggi tertua di Oxford, didirikan sekitar tahun 1263 oleh John I de Balliol, seorang pemilik tanah kaya dari Kastil Barnard di County Durham, yang menyediakan yayasan dan dana abadi untuk perguruan tinggi tersebut. Ketika de Balliol meninggal pada tahun 1268 jandanya, Dervorguilla, seorang wanita yang kekayaannya jauh melebihi suaminya, melanjutkan pekerjaannya dalam mendirikan perguruan tinggi, memberikan sumbangan lebih lanjut dan menulis statuta. Dia dianggap sebagai salah satu pendiri perguruan tinggi tersebut.[1]
